Ten Burleson LLP Attorneys Now Board Certified In Oil, Gas, And Mineral Law

HOUSTON, Jan. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Burleson LLP, a full-service law firm devoted primarily to the oil and gas industry, announced that three of its attorneys – Kene Chinweze, Landon Speights, and Brandon Durrett – have recently earned Board Certification in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Matthew Brysacz also earned Board Certification in Estate Planning and Probate Law. 

With the announcement, the firm now has 10 attorneys – more than any other firm or company in the Lone Star State – who have received the designation in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law.  Those who earn certification must be licensed for at least five years, devote a required percentage of their practice to a specialty area for at least three years, attend continuing education seminars, pass an evaluation by fellow lawyers and judges, and pass a six-hour written examination.
