Also a website has been updated in the "How to Apply" section which is now http://unemployment.wisconsin.gov. These are the many changes that have been done to the Wisconsin labor law poster and must be updated and posted now.

Wisconsin statutes provides that it is unlawful for employers, employment agencies, labor unions and licensing agencies to discriminate against employees and job applicants. The Discrimination (Fair Employment Law) Law recently added the "Declining to attend a meeting or participate in any communication about religious or political matters". This means that if an employee refuses to attend a meeting or participate in communications the employer can not terminate or take adverse action against the employee's refusal. However, this new law prohibits an employer from offering meetings or communications about religious or political matters only if the attendance in communication is strictly voluntary. Any adverse action taken to the employee for refusing to attend such meeting is now illegal discrimination under Wisconsin's Fair Employment Act.
