ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Starr Aviation Agency, Inc. (Starr Aviation), a subsidiary of C.V. Starr & Co., Inc. (C.V. Starr) has acquired International Aerospace Insurance Services, Inc. (Inter-Aero) of Santa Barbara, CA.
“The acquisition of Inter-Aero expands not only our distribution network, but also our suite of products. Inter-Aero’s team of professionals has a strong presence in the Space market and greatly enables our entry into that business. The General Aviation team will provide quality services to expand our West Coast network”, said Bill Eason, President of Starr Aviation.
Inter-Aero is a leader in the Aerospace Insurance market and has developed a growing book of General Aviation business.
Starr Aviation underwrites a comprehensive series of allied insurance products that are written on behalf of its highly rated insurance partners and its FSA approved Lloyds Syndicates. Starr Aviation’s product offerings include; Airline, Aerospace Manufactured Products, Aviation General Liability, General Aviation Hull & Liability and Aviation Workers’ Compensation.
Charles (Chuck) Rudd, who has been involved in the Aerospace Insurance industry for over 25 years, will be an Executive Vice President of Starr Aviation.
