Anastasia (Stacy) Bennett from Coastal Plains Outdoors of Hilton Head has successfully completed the annual continuing education requirement of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. Bennett is the Senior Account Executive of the agency, which specializes in providing outdoor insurance solutions to individuals and businesses across the country. In order to earn this prestigious designation, Bennett attended five courses covering all phases of the insurance business, and passed a comprehensive examination for each course.

Bennett, a 10-year veteran of the industry, has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 2013. Bennett believes the insurance profession is best served by those who acquire and maintain a high standard of professionalism by meeting the continuing education requirements of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.

The CIC designation program meets the need for all-inclusive, technical knowledge across all areas of the insurance industry. The five CIC institutes include Personal Lines, Commercial Casualty, Commercial Property, Life and Health, and Agency Management. Each of the institutes is two and a half days long and is followed by an examination. Insurance professionals who successfully complete all of the examinations, like Bennett, earn the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. Additionally, The National Alliance requires annual attendance in the program to maintain the designation.
