Background: The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) is a
Access to
Government's Requirement: The objective of this contract is to acquire technical and professional support services, systems management, computer operations, systems programming, and cyber security defense for all
Work to be performed includes technical, administrative, and professional services in support of DMEA IT/IA requirements, including: * Semiconductor foundry process automation and system integration, development, and support * Business Process Management and knowledge management in support of Semiconductor Foundry Processes. * Information Assurance, DoD Certification and Accreditation of systems and networks, * Compliance with changing DoD security requirements * Custom application and system development and support * Network and PC hardware/software installation and maintenance in the areas that use and store hazardous chemicals and gases. * Computer/network systems support, computer network defense, exchange server administration, trouble reporting, information center support, technical and computer equipment maintenance support, internet, and intranet development and support. * Telecommunication system support, communications network support, and video teleconferencing support
The contractor will also support numerous commercial, DoD supplied, and internally developed software applications for current and legacy systems. The list of software to be supported includes specialized process automation and control applications, custom database applications, and numerous operating systems and applications that are subject to internal development, patching, upgrades, and new installations. Software developed in part or in whole by the contractor requires the use of DoD and industry best practices, full testing, deployment, documentation, user training, maintenance, updates,
Proposed Contract Type and Term: The proposed contract will be a commercial single award IDIQ. Task orders will be issued as firm fixed-price. A task order will be issued annually for ongoing Operations & Compliance work, with additional task orders for new development projects as needs arise. There will be a base ordering period of one year, with four one year option periods (5 years total).
Requested Information: The purpose of this request for information is to identify potential Small Business sources for these services to determine whether or not this acquisition should be set aside.

- providing IT support to a semiconductor foundry (or similar industrial application, e.g. solar panel manufacturing) - software development for semiconductor foundry hardware (or similar industrial applications) - possessing and maintaining DoD facility and personnel security clearances - complying with DoD information assurance/security requirements and adapting processes as security requirements change - custom application and web development - providing general office IT (network, internet, hardware, etc.) installation, maintenance, and support - any other relevant information which demonstrates your firm's ability to provide the services listed in the Performance Requirements Summary.
