Shelter Bank Expands Relationship with Harland Financial Solutions to Streamline and Enhance Loan Process

Institution Adds uOpen^™ and DecisionPro^™ to Provide Consumers with Online Loan Application Option

LAKE MARY, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Harland Financial Solutions announced today that Shelter Bank, an existing user of LaserPro^® for compliant documents, has added two more Harland Financial Solutions products to its enterprise. The addition of uOpen^™ for online account opening, along with DecisionPro^™ for consumer loan origination and underwriting, will create a complete straight-through lending process that gives customers the ability to submit loan applications online.

Shelter Bank, a subsidiary of Shelter Insurance, obtains most of its business from the 1,300 insurance agents who submit their customers’ loan requests via an online application process. Therefore the combination of the self-service model provided by uOpen and the integrated decisioning process of DecisionPro is a perfect fit.
