Seth Perretta Leads Benefits Team to Groom Law Group: Will Serve as Co-Head of Firm’s Health Group

WASHINGTON, April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Groom Law Group, Chartered, a Washington, DC law firm that focuses exclusively on benefits matters, announced that Seth Perretta has joined the firm as Co-Head of the firm's Health & Welfare practice.  Also joining the firm with Perretta are Allison Ullman as a Principal, Malcolm Slee as Of Counsel and Sravya (Via) Boppana as an Associate. 

Perretta is a well-known presence in the Washington, DC benefits community and a nationally recognized expert in the field.  He has extensive experience providing counsel to large insurers, trade associations, and third party administrators regarding the implications of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  Perretta's experience also includes advocating before various federal agencies, including the Departments of Treasury, Labor and Health and Human Services, on behalf of trade associations and other entities with respect to the ACA.  His practice also encompasses qualified retirement plans, executive compensation arrangements, federal income and employment taxes, and other issues for health and welfare benefit plans. 

Ullman, Slee and Boppana also have extensive experience counselling clients on the ACA, as well as with respect to design and compliance issues for the full range of benefits and executive compensation arrangements.
