Service King Collision Repair Centers Acquires Collision Authority

RICHARDSON, Texas, Jan. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Service King Collision Repair Centers (Service King), a multi-state operator of high-quality collision repair facilities and one of the fastest growing collision repair companies nationwide, announced today it has acquired Las Vegas-based Collision Authority, effective immediately.

Service King, with more than 110 locations in Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and now Nevada, acquired Collision Authority's 6 collision repair centers in the Las Vegas-Henderson area.

With this acquisition, Service King will now operate 18 repair shops in the western United States. Collision Authority's state-of-the-art repair facilities cover 210,000 square feet and are capable of serving more than 1,500 cars per month.

Collision Authority's partners, Michael Spears and Vicki Dessaints, and 130 team members will be joining more than 2,300 Service King teammates across the country. Mr. Spears has over 22 years of industry experience, helping grow Collision Authority to become the largest and most successful chain of auto body shops in Nevada.
