Safety Holdings, a subsidiary of SAMBASafety Holdings, announced the acquisition of American Driving Records, a subsidiary of CoreLogic.
In a release dated Sept. 27, the Company said that the acquisition closed on Aug. 31.
Safety Holdings' acquisition of American Driving Records expands its ability to provide national driver record access, merges two client bases (SAMBASafety and ADR), and provides a broader suite of risk management offerings. SAMBASafety and ADR will continue operations as subsidiaries of the holding company.
SAMBASafety is a provider of SaaS-based driver risk management services and solutions.
"This acquisition not only accelerates Safety Holdings' strategy to extend our solutions to a national market, it enhances our efforts to assist customers in reducing vehicle accidents and the human and financial costs that result from them," said Richard Crawford, CEO of Safety Holdings. "The respective patented technologies and strong expertise of each company is expected to drive the creation of next-generation driver and risk management solutions. In addition, this transaction allows us to deliver innovative information solutions to the insurance marketplace."
Safety Holdings is a provider of motor vehicle records, driver risk management services and vehicle registration services.
