SafeAuto Insurance Launches ‘Norm’s Stuff Giveaway’ Contest

Columbus, Ohio: SafeAuto Insurance, a well-known car insurance company, offers state minimum auto insurance coverage to drivers in sixteen states throughout the country. If you are familiar with SafeAuto, there is a high probability you have seen one of their marketing campaigns on television or online.

To receive optimal exposure in their most recent television campaign, SafeAuto launched the ‘Norm’s Stuff Giveaway’ contest. This was a commercial featuring comedian Norm Macdonald that would drive television viewers to SafeAuto’s website and social media pages for the chance to win great prizes.

“We loved the idea of driving social interaction through a campaign that originated from a television campaign,” said Charlie Kordes, Vice President of Customer Demand and Experience. “Norm’s humor and the creative behind the spot have been driving more people to the web.”

To win prizes from Norm Macdonald’s closet, browsers can enter the social media contest on SafeAuto’s Facebook page. The car insurance company is giving away an iPad, Beats by Dre Headphones, a digital camera and Norm Macdonald’s autograph. In the commercial, Norm Macdonald urges viewers to, “Visit SafeAuto.com today while I pack these prizes up for a lucky winner!”

Brian Moyers from Lemont, Illinois was selected as the first lucky winner as he won an iPad from SafeAuto. “Running this contest says that SafeAuto is interested in strengthening the company to consumer relationship,” said Moyers. “By entertaining people while informing them abut the company’s products, and by giving customers a benefit for interacting with the company in the form of fun prizes is awesome!”
