"This past March, we hired Dave Richards and Steve Grim to lead our expansion into State College. Both Dave and Steve understand the market and have long ties to the Centre County community," said Todd Brice, President and CEO of S&T Bank. "We are confident that their leadership will enable us to achieve our goals in the region."

The branch is more than 3,900 square feet, is located in the center of downtown at the corner of Atherton St. and Fraser St., and is also directly accessible from the Fraser St. Parking Facility. The bank will offer retail banking services, mortgage services, wealth management, commercial lending, treasury management and S&T Evergreen Insurance.

As a veteran of the banking industry in State College, Richards will serve as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining S&T Bank, Richards was CEO of two Pennsylvania banks, including the Nittany Bank, where he was a founding member. In addition, Richards acts as treasurer of the Centre County Housing and Land Trust and is also a board member of the State College Downtown Improvement District. Richards has a B.S. in finance from Susquehanna University and was the youngest graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

"We're excited to officially open S&T Bank in the State College community," said Richards. "This grand opening celebration is the realization of many months of planning and preparation, and we're eager for the community to come in and experience everything S&T Bank has to offer."

With a total of three and a half decades of experience, which includes 25 years serving the State College region, Grim joined S&T Bank as Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Grim currently serves as Finance Chairman of State College Community Land Trust, and previously was a past board member of the State College Little League. Grim has a B.A. in finance from The Pennsylvania State University.

In addition, S&T Bank has hired Jessica Chobody as Vice President, Private Banker and Jennifer Cadman as Private Banker. Prior to joining the S&T Bank State College team, Cadman and Chobody have spent many years working in the State College market.

The S&T Bank State College grand opening branch celebration includes a ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and will be held in front of the branch starting at 10 a.m. on June 18.
