Reminder: 2011 Market Classification Review Announcement for the MSCI Qatar and MSCI UAE Indices on December 14, 2011

GENEVA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MSCI), a leading provider of investment decision support tools worldwide, including indices, portfolio risk and performance analytics and corporate governance services will be releasing the results of its annual Market Classification Review for the MSCI Qatar and MSCI UAE Indices on December 14, 2011. The announcement will be posted shortly after 11:00pm Central European Time (CET) on the MSCI website, www.msci.com.

Following this posting on msci.com at 11.00pm CET, the results of the review will also be made available on Bloomberg (page MSCN) and Reuters (public pages MSCIA). In addition, MSCI will distribute the announcement to clients through Client Options immediately after the announcement appears on Bloomberg and/or Reuters.

After posting the review announcement, MSCI will hold two press conference calls to answer questions from the media. Note that these press conference calls are restricted to journalists.
