Health information, technology and consulting company Ingenix, a UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH) company, reported on Wednesday that it has acquired QualityMetric Incorporated, expanding its health outcomes measurement capabilities.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
QualityMetric specialises in helping health care companies assess health outcomes as reported by patients themselves, known as patient-reported outcomes. The company develops and maintains general and disease-specific health surveys for measuring patients' own assessments of their health.
