The Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, materials, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these specifications for Project No. ZNRE 15-1076, Emergency Incinerator Repair B1526, Yokota AB, Japan, Yokota Air Base, Japan.
The following scope of work is expressed in general terms and in no way limits the Contractor's responsibility.
Perform all work indicated in specifications or accompanying drawings, which will be included in the solicitation package. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of this contract. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to:
* 1. Bid item: Existing combustion chamber #2:
* a. Replace existing damaged bricks, castable, motor, anchor, steel casing, ceramic rope and ceramic blanket with new at combustion chamber #2.
* b. Replace existing damaged shoe, shoe slide plate and associated parts with new at combustion chamber #2.
* c. Additionally, scaffolding, curing, clean up, transport, waste disposal, paint, miscellaneous and all other related works shall be required. The cost of consumer goods and lease equipment shall be included.
* 2. Bid item: Existing combustion chamber #1:
a. Replace existing damaged bricks, castable, motor, anchor, steel casing, ceramic rope and ceramic blanket with new at combustion chamber #1.
* b. Replace existing damaged shoe, shoe slide plate and associated parts with new at combustion chamber #1.
* c. Additionally, scaffolding, curing, clean up, transport, waste disposal, paint, miscellaneous and all other related works shall be required. The cost of consumer goods and lease equipment shall be included.
The magnitude of this project is expected between Y20,427,450 and Y40,854,900 in accordance with FAR 36.204 (d), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation package. For more details will be posted when determined. The site visit is scheduled on 17 Dec 13 at 1400 hours, JST.
If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 1330 hours to obtain the pass. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's lisence with 8 digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper original insurance docuemnts. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base.
