Plymouth Rock Assurance Introduces Online Claims Feature for Customers
BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/05/10 -- Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation, a leading New England auto insurance company, today announced the availability of a new internet-based tool that will allow our agents and customers to quickly and easily access important information regarding insurance claims online. The company has improved the quality of information available to its agents allowing them to service customers better than ever. In addition, the company has developed new online claims services for customers available at www.plymouthrock.com.
Available at no additional cost to customers who register for a Plymouth Rock eServices account, the new feature demystifies the claim process and improves transparency by allowing customers to log in and view information regarding all claims related to their policies.
Developed to provide added convenience to customers in today's fast-paced, increasingly wired world, access to the site is fast and easy. Customers simply log into their eServices accounts and select "Claim Information" from the Resource Center home page. They will then see information about their claims, such as the name of the adjuster assigned to each claim, important information concerning the claim, and status of claim payments.
The introduction of the eServices claims detail is the latest in Plymouth Rock's ongoing dedication to offering agents and customers "More than Just Insurance." In addition to Savings Pass, that can save Massachusetts policyholders hundreds on auto-related purchases, the company also offers several pioneering benefits to assist policyholders at every stage of the insurance process, including:
- Email reminders to help Massachusetts drivers remember when to renew drivers' licenses, vehicle registrations and inspections (available to all Massachusetts residents whether a policyholder or not)
- Door to Door Valet Claim Service(SM) with vehicle pick-up, repair, return and replacement rental services
- Ability to view and pay bills online, saving time and money
"We understand that the claims process can be complex and hard to understand at times and know that our policyholders want better visibility into the amounts we've paid, when we made payments on their behalf, and to whom we have made those payments. They may want to get answers to their questions at their convenience, without having to make a phone call," said Mike Cesinger, Chief Claims Officer. "We're confident that our agents and customers will find great value in eServices Claims and look forward to introducing additional innovations that underscore our commitment to offering more than just insurance."
In the coming months, Plymouth Rock will introduce a number of additional agent and customer benefits, including several new retail outlets that will offer discounts to Massachusetts policyholders.
