Philadelphia Insurance Companies Announces Co-Presidents
BALA CYNWYD, Pa., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) announces the promotions of Christopher J. Maguire and Sean S. Sweeney to the position of Co-Presidents. The organizational changes will take effect immediately.

Chris Maguire joined Philadelphia Insurance Companies in 1987 and has managed the operations and production within the Underwriting Department. In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer, his focus became building a franchise and creating alignment within each of the functional areas. In his new position of Co-President & Chief Operating Officer, Chris will be responsible for the operational oversight of all departments with a continued focus on building a leadership framework focused on strategic alignment.
In 1979, Sean Sweeney began his now 31 year tenure at Philadelphia Insurance Companies. He is responsible for the formation and success of its Marketing Department. In his most recent role as EVP & Chief Marketing Officer, Sean's focus has been on developing new and creative ways to grow the business organically, by acquisition and through product development. In his new position of Co-President & Chief Marketing Officer, Sean will maintain oversight of the Sales & Marketing organization and Valley Forge Insurance Brokerage. He will also assist with Training & Development and lead the Tokio Marine Group's initiative to promote resource sharing among its subsidiaries.
