Peerless Insurance® Appoints Mike McUne to Marketing Vice President

Keene, N.H. - February 1, 2012 – Peerless Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation regional company, today announced the appointment of Mr. Mike McUne to vice president, Marketing.
Mr. McUne will be responsible for Peerless Insurance’s marketing strategy and execution, agency distribution management, administration of agent incentive plans, and development of 18 territory managers and three agency specialists across the company’s eight-state territory.
“Mike joins Peerless with strong front-line marketing and sales execution experience, and a great understanding of the local agency relationship model that sets us apart in the market,” said Mike Christiansen, president and chief executive officer, Peerless Insurance. “He will work closely with our regional vice presidents towards furthering our goal to continue profitably growing our small to mid-market commercial lines business.”
McUne comes to Peerless Insurance from Portland, Oregon-based Liberty Northwest, also a Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation regional company. Since 2007, he has been a marketing consultant and supervising business analyst with that company. He earned a B.A. degree in Business and Economics from Lewis & Clark College and a M.B.A. from Marylhurst University, both in Portland, Oregon.
