Paradiso Insurance Hosts “Win a Date with Kurt or Kate” Raffle to Benefit Local Lymphoma Patient

The team at Paradiso has now come together to assist in fundraising efforts for Josh Scussell, a Stafford resident who was recently diagnosed with stage-3 lymphoma.

While Scussell is being treated at Hartford Hospital, his family and friends plan to host a benefit dinner dance for him on Saturday, March 31. As one of the evening’s raffle prizes, Paradiso Insurance is offering people the chance to win a date with one of two employees, Kate Pisciotta or Kurt Vail, who are both well known within the Stafford Springs community. Tickets for “Win a Date with Kurt or Kate” are available for $5 each or $10 for three. People can purchase tickets at the Paradiso Insurance office, the LIVE with Kate & Kurt show office, the MyStaffordSprings office or the Middle Ground Café. Anyone who has questions on how they can partake in the raffle can call Paradiso Insurance at (860) 684-5270 and simply ask about “the date.” A winner will be chosen on April 20 and the night of the date with Kurt or Kate will be April 28.

Scussell, who until recently was a substitute teacher for the Stafford and Tolland school systems, will benefit from any donations by being able to focus on his health, as opposed to daunting medical bills.
