New York Life Sponsors PBS Series “Consuelo Mack Wealthtrack”
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- New York Life Insurance Company announced today that it has become a corporate sponsor of Consuelo Mack WealthTrack, the respected public television program devoted to helping Americans build and protect their wealth over the long-term. The sponsorship, beginning this month, allows New York Life to promote its “Selfless Gift†message during each weekly episode and within the streaming video of each episode on the program’s web site, wealthtrack.com.
Now in its fifth season, Consuelo Mack WealthTrack airs on 268 public television channels in 104 markets around the country. WealthTrack is hosted by Consuelo Mack, former anchor and senior correspondent at CNBC and long-time host of the syndicated series The Wall Street Journal Report.
“New York Life is proud to continue our support of PBS’ educational programming. We believe we’re entering a new era of financial responsibility among consumers and the Consuelo Mack WealthTrack series, which focuses on careful, long-term investing, is exactly the kind of programming that the public is demanding in these tough economic times,†said Ted Mathas, chairman, president and CEO of New York Life. “As one of the nation’s strongest insurance companies, New York Life has been helping families protect their financial future for over 160 years and this sponsorship is a great fit with our brand and our mission.â€
Consuelo Mack added, “We’re very pleased to welcome such a well-respected company and iconic brand as New York Life to the program. New York Life is dedicated to being there for its policyholders, just as our program strives to be there for investors.â€
