According to the survey, 80 percent of respondents would move to a city where they could find employment, regardless of whether it was where they most wanted to live. As of August 2013, New York City's over-the-year private sector employment growth rate of 2.5 percent was higher than the nation's and the state's average growth rates of 1.7 percent and 2 percent, according to the Department of Labor.

“Relocating for a new job is always stressful, but our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible,” King says.
