National Planning Corporation® Expands Practice Management Services
SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- National Planning Corporation, Inc. (NPC®) today announced the addition of several enhancements to the suite of practice management programs offered by the firm’s Strategic Business Unit (SBU). NPC has introduced three new programs that are designed to help representatives manage their practices more efficiently and can be customized according to the needs of participating NPC advisers
NPC has enhanced its existing Web-based business assessment tool, Compass, with the addition of Navigator, a comprehensive consulting program that bridges the gap between the current state of the adviser’s practice and his or her future goals. The program takes a holistic approach to evaluating 12 key areas of the practice – including time management and succession planning – and identifies areas where improvements can be made. The adviser then works with NPC’s team of business consultants over a period of 16 weeks to meet the program’s suggested objectives.
“Achieving equilibrium in managing a business and servicing clients is becoming increasingly challenging for advisers,” said Scott Romine, president and chief executive officer of NPC. “The recent enhancements to NPC’s practice management programs can help representatives improve efficiency and streamline workflow within their practices. When coupled with the expertise of our seasoned business consultants, the SBU programs allow financial professionals to aptly address the challenges of today’s business environment.”
NPC also introduced NavigatorChoice, an à la carte version of Navigator thatprovides representatives with dedicated support from the SBU consultants on specific areas of focus. The modules offer a shorter time commitment, at a lower cost, than the complete version of the Navigator program. The fee for NavigatorChoice may also be credited toward future participation in Navigator.
Furthermore, NPC now offers Pursuit, a new 12-week coaching program for affiliated representatives who want to examine the fundamentals of their business model. Pursuit provides one-on-one coaching and guidance to keep participants on track in the ongoing cycle of examining the current state of their practice; defining their future goals; building, implementing and executing their strategy; monitoring results; and adjusting their business models in order to enhance profitability and stay competitive within the industry.
“I was curious about ways to streamline my business, and Navigator helped me make an honest assessment of my practice so I could determine how to use my time and resources more effectively,” said Virgil Kahl of Spring Ridge Financial Group, LLC in Reading, PA. “I also became aware of the patterns that were leading to inefficiency. The program has helped me restructure my time to make sure that, every moment of the day, I am working on something that is valuable and will help me achieve my goals.”
