NEW YORK, July 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Spencer Educational Foundation, Inc. (http://www.spencered.org) will host its second annual fundraising gala on September 13, 2010 at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. During the event, the foundation will honor Stephen P. McGill, chairman and chief executive officer of Aon Risk Services, and Shivan S. Subramaniam, chairman and chief executive officer of FM Global, for their contributions to the advancement of risk management educational opportunities.

Since joining Aon in 2005, McGill has been focused on client and broking leadership, bringing talent and resources together to deliver high impact risk solutions to clients. He is also an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a past president of the Insurance Institute of London and a director of the International Insurance Society Inc.

Named chairman of FM Global in 2002, Subramaniam was elected president and CEO in 1999. Prior to that, he was chairman and CEO at Allendale Insurance, a predecessor company of FM Global.
