Muscat Life, Nextcare in insurance pact

Muscat Life Assurance, Oman's only stand-alone national life insurer has appointed Nextcare, health insurance services provider, as its third party administrator (TPA).

With this arrangement, Muscat Life delegates its medical claims administration and settlements to a third party in order to provide a first class local settlement service to its clients.

Muscat Life Assurance held two seminars in Muscat and Sohar for its network of hospitals and clinics throughout Oman to announce improvements in its range of health insurance products and services.

"Muscat Life plans to become Oman's premier life and health insurer in the coming years," says Shaun McCarthy, general manager, Muscat Life Assurance Company.

"The demand from both citizens and expatriates for affordable, quality private health insurance is increasing exponentially and the market is undergoing rapid growth," he added.
