Multiple arrests reported by Mingo Co. law enforcement

May 21--WILLIAMSON -- Numerous individuals have found themselves on the wrong side of the law within the past week, as officers with every law enforcement agency in the county recording arrests.

Tenna Marie Riffe, 25, of Hanover, was arrested by Mingo County Sheriff's Department Deputy R. Fitch and Gilbert Police Chief Rasmussen on a petit larceny charge.

Gloria Gail Vance, 26, of Breeden, was taken into custody on charges of trespassing, cultivation of marijuana and conspiracy to commit a felony by West Virginia State Police Trooper D.L. Contos.

Todd Allen Messer, 39, of Dingess, was also placed under arrest by Contos after being charged with conspiracy to commit a felony and cultivation of marijuana.

Lola Cline, 35, of Baisden, was arrested by Senior Trooper J.J. Dean III and was charged with stalking and harassment.

Tyrone Lemar Miller, 37, of Holden, was charged with DUI, driving left of center, driving on a revoked license and no insurance, following his arrest by Williamson Patrolman J. Marcum.

Mark Deskins, 31, of Lenore, was taken into custody on charges of possession with intent to deliver, obstructing and driving on a revoked license. Deskins was arrested by Trooper D.M. Williamson.

Zachary Kyle Kirk, 18, of Wharncliffe, was arrested and charged by Delbarton Patrolman J. McCown with one count of battery.

Jerry Maynard, 49, of Delbarton, was placed under arrest on charges of public intoxication and driving on a revoked license for reasons of DUI by Contos.

Clyde Bishop, 45, of Rawl, was charged with public intoxication, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct following his arrest by Marcum.

Freddie Walter Trout, 62, of Russell Steps in Williamson, was arrested by Marcum and charged with second-offense DUI, obstructing an officer, fleeing on foot and crashes involving injury.

William Mullins, 29, of Delbarton, faces two counts of domestic battery following his arrest by sheriff's Sgt James Muncy and Delbarton Police Chief D. Nunley.

Seth Wiley, 43, of Chauncey, was arrested on charges of DUI and expired registration. Contos made the arrest.

Kayla Shanice Smith, 26, of Williamson, was taken into custody by Williamson Patrolman J.D. Tincher and Matewan Patrolman B. Sipple II on charges of possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of an officer, and public intoxication

Carlos David Marcum, 31, of Delbarton, was charged with one count each of domestic assault and domestic battery after being arrested by Dean.

Brenda Lee Hinkle, 30, of Matewan, was arrested by Matewan Police Chief Allen Mounts on charges of first-degree arson and child neglect causing risk of injury.

Kevin Starr, 42, of Matewan, was taken into custody by sheriff's Cpl. C.G. Endicott after being charged with domestic battery and violation of an emergency protection order.

Fed Blevins, 33, of Belfry, Ky., was charged with burglary and petit larceny and was placed under arrest by Dean.

Elroy Scott Evans, 43, of Lenore, was arrested by deputies E. Williams and S. Messer and charged with one count each of domestic assault and domestic battery.

Sandra Kay Mullins, 50, of Williamson, was taken into custody by Tincher and charged with DUI and driving left of center.

William Ervin Slone, 37, of Delbarton, was placed under arrest by Delbarton Patrolman J. McCown on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime.

Lorretha Browning, 37, of Delbarton, was charged with one count each of conspiracy to commit a crime and battery, and was also arrested by McCown.

All defendants were arraigned in Mingo County Magistrate Court and will be making an appearance in the near future for their preliminary hearings in their respective cases.
