Montgomery Insurance® President Honored by North Carolina Independent Insurance Agents

Charlotte, N.C. - June 21, 2012 – Michael J. Plavnicky, President of Charlotte-based Montgomery Insurance, has been recognized with the Chairman’s Citation by the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC).
The award, presented by IIANC Board of Directors Chairman Tim Templeton, honors Plavnicky for his outstanding and continuing support of the state’s independent insurance agents. Since his appointment as President of Montgomery Insurance in October 2005, Plavnicky has been an active participant with the IIANC Board of Directors and the organization’s leadership.
“Mike Plavnicky is a believer in the IIANC. He always looks for creative ways to support insurance agency development, education, and professionalism,” said Templeton, who is also President of Senn Dunn Insurance in Greensboro.
Plavnicky is also an active member on the Board of Advisors for the Brantley Risk Insurance Center at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
