Molina Healthcare receives accreditation from URAC for Nurse Advice Line

Molina Healthcare Inc (NYSE:MOH), provider of managed care services to low-income families and individuals eligible for Medicaid, Medicare and other government sponsored programmes stated on Monday that URAC has awarded its Nurse Advice Line with Health Call Centre Accreditation.

The company also said that URAC, an independent, non-profit organisation, promotes health care quality through accreditation and certification programmes. This accreditation recognises that validly licensed individuals perform the clinical aspects of triage and other health information services in time, with confidentiality and includes medically appropriate care and treatment advice.

Additionally, Molina said that the Nurse Advice Line is a free 24 hour phone service for enrolled members who receive answers in their own language directly from a registered nurse who in turn guides them to the appropriate kind of care.
