1. Addendum No. 1 to the provided scope of work included in the solicitation.

2. Change site visit time and location to:

In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.3.1.2.1" -" the purpose of this SIR is to obtain information, which will ultimately allow the FAA to identify an Offeror that provides the best value, make a selection decision, and award a contract.

The FAA Eastern Service Area, AAQ-510ATL Acquisition Office, has a new construction effort for Phase 2 for Installation of Navigation AID (NAVAID) Facilities on the new Runway Expansion 10R-28L at the Fort Lauderdale --Hollywood International Airport (additional information provided in the attached Specification). This requirement is solely set-aside for Pre-Existing/Qualified Contractors under the Eastern Logistics Service Area Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) with capabilities on major and moderate multidiscipline construction and modernization, civil engineering, architectural, structural, and airport field work.

The lowest price, technically acceptable source selection process will be used to meet FAA--'s best value criteria. The procurement is intended to result in an award of a firm, fixed price (FFP) Call Order contract.

The Principal North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $14M.

The performance period is 150 calendar days, following the issuance of a Notice to Proceed.

In accordance with Procurement Guidance T3.8.7 Construction Contracting, section 7, Planning and Pre-Solicitation, paragraph l. Disclosure of the Size of Construction Projects, the price range for this project is between $1,500,000.00 and $3,500,000.00

Capacity of performance bonds, payment bonds and insurance is required to be submitted with the offer.

A Pre--Bid Site Visit is scheduled for December 20, 2013 at 09:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) at the FAA Fort Lauderdale ATCT 4150 S.W. 12th Ter, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33315, please RSVP by emailing Hector L. De Jesus ([email protected]) on or before December 19, 20134:30 PM EST to participate in the site visits. Attendees must have a Government issued ID and bring the proper PPE to access the different construction sites.

FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more Offerors at any time during the procurement process. Written questions or comments on this solicitation must be submitted to the FAA no later than January 3, 2014 at 4:30 PM EST. Send email messages to Hector L. De Jesus at ([email protected]). Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to allow sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at the FAA Southern Region Office. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at the Southern Region Office.
