On 22-23 July 2014, the Product Manager Guided Precision Munitions & Mortar Systems and the Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) will host an Industry Day at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ to provide information on three planned solicitations/contracts to procure 60mm/81mm/120mm Mortar Weapon Systems, Mortar Weapon System Components and Mortar Fire Control/Fielding Activity (FIRECON-F). The Mortar Weapon System Components solicitation/contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract issued as a total small business set-aside for small business participation. The 60mm/81mm/120mm Mortar Weapons Systems solicitation/contract will also be a FFP IDIQ contract issued as unrestricted to all businesses/organizations worldwide. The Mortar Fire Control/Fielding Activity (FIRECON-F) solicitation/contract will be a Hybrid FFP IDIQ contract for material/supplies and a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) for services contract issued as unrestricted to all businesses/organizations worldwide. All three contracts will cover FY15-19 requirements. The draft Scope of Work (SOW) for all three solicitations was released on 30 June 2014 on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website. An anticipated solicitation for the 60mm/81mm/120mm Mortar Weapon Systems will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website on or around 15 December 2014. An anticipated solicitation for the Mortar Weapon System Components will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website on or around 18 November 2014. An anticipated solicitation for the Mortar Fire Control/Fielding Activity (FIRECON-F) will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website on or around 30 September 2014. July 22nd Industry Day will cover information relating to the 60mm/81mm/120mm Mortar Weapon Systems and Mortar Weapon System Components solicitations/contracts. The event will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Participants may arrive to register starting at 8:00 a.m.July 23rd Industry Day will cover information relating to the Mortar Fire Control/Fielding Activity (FIRECON-F) solicitation/contract. The event will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. Participants may arrive to register starting at 8:00 a.m. Interested businesses/organizations must include in their request the days they plan on attending. At this time, meetings on both days will be held at the Cannon Gates Conference Center at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. Should you require directions to Picatinny Arsenal and the Cannon Gates Conference Center please include same in your request. Businesses/Organizations interested in sending representatives to the Industry Day shall notify Kyle Thalmann via electronic mail only at [email protected]. The last day to register for the Industry Day for the Mortar Weapon Systems/Components and Mortar Fire Control and Fielding Activity (FIRECON-F) being held on July 22nd &23rd at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is 11 July 2014 due to limited occupancy. For the companies/personnel that have already registered to attend the Industry Day, unregistered personnel will not be allowed to attend these Industry Days due to the limited occupancy. The following information is needed in order to be registered: Firm Name, Name(s) of Individual(s) attending, Date of Attendance Requested, Telephone Numbers and Addresses. Foreign businesses/organizations outside the U.S. and Canada may request attendance, but their acceptance to attend this meeting cannot be guaranteed. It should also be noted that attendance by foreign representatives is contingent upon them submitting and getting approval via the attached documentation. If applicable, please submit the required documentation no later than 30 days prior to Industry Day. Attendees to this meeting who wish to enter Picatinny Arsenal and do not have a Department of Defense identification card must go to the Visitor Control Center located at the Picatinny Main Gate. In order to be issued a personal entry pass you MUST have some form of valid photo ID, i.e. Drivers License, Passport, etc. This policy includes all vehicle passengers. In order to be allowed to drive onto Picatinny Arsenal you must also present a valid vehicle registration and proof of insurance. All vehicles entering Picatinny will be subject to search for weapons, ammunition, drugs, alcoholic beverages, photographic equipment, and recording devices. These items will be confiscated and violators will be cited by the Picatinny Police. The planned 60mm/81mm/120mm Mortar Weapon Systems solicitation/contract consists of the following products: 1. M224 60mm Legacy Mortar Weapon System 2. M252 81mm Legacy Mortar Weapon System 3. M224A1 60mm Light Weight (LW) Mortar Weapon System 4. M252A1 81mm LW Mortar Weapon System 5. M121 120mm Carrier Mounted Mortar Weapon System 6. M120A1 120mm Towed Mortar Weapon System to include the M326 120mm Mortar Stowage Kit (MSK) with the M1101 Light Tactical Trailer (LTT). The planned Mortar Weapon Systems Components solicitation/contract consists of the following products: 1. M224/M224A1 60mm Legacy/LW Mortar Weapon System Components a. Baseplates: M7A1 - For M224A1 60mm LW System b. Bipods: M170A1 - For M224A1 60mm LW System c. Basic Issue Items (BII) - For M224/M224A1 60mm Legacy/LW Systems d. Sight Units: M67 - For M224/M224A1 60mm Legacy/LW Systems e. Range Indicators - For M224/M224A1 60mm Legacy/LW Systems f. Handle and Firing Mechanism - For M224/M224A1 60mm Legacy/LW Systems g.
