Mel Foster Co. Celebrates 2011 Achievements

Mel Foster Co. Inc. celebrated their 2011 achievements. More than 240 Mel Foster Co. agents and staff gathered yesterday afternoon at the Quad Cities Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa, to celebrate their 2011 accomplishments. “We are grateful and appreciative to our agents and our staff for their commitment to excellence, dedication, hard work and loyalty,” said company Chairman, President and CEO Rob Fick.

During the annual awards reception, a total of 110 agents were recognized for achieving membership in the company’s different sales clubs including Chairman, Executive, President and Honor. These clubs represent the top agents in residential sales from Illinois and Iowa, the Commercial division and the Insurance division.

Mel Foster Co. Inc. also welcomed 30 new agents and staff into the company in 2011. In addition to the awards and the welcome, Mel Foster Co. highlighted their enhanced services offered in 2011 to improve the consumer’s experiences and agent productivity.

As part of their multi-platform marketing, a facelift was done to the Mel Foster Co. mobile website, http://www.melfosterco.mobi to mimic the look of the new iPhone® and Android™ apps which feature a fast loading GPS.

The award-winning residential website, http://www.melfosterco.com earned the Website Quality Certification (WQC) presented for a second year by Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® - a global network of 550 premier real estate firms who set the standard of quality service, while generating a high volume of referral, relocation, and real estate business. Internet Leads doubled since last year as have the conversions of those leads. An online CE module was added for their agents to more easily complete required continuing education credit hours.

Mel Foster Commercial Real Estate Services received a new website with intuitive searching and larger photos. The recruiting department rolled out a new website with detailed information for new and existing agents wanting to know about a career in real estate with Mel Foster Co.    

Mel Foster Insurance illustrated their commitment to specialization with the expansion of their focus on niche markets. As the P/C industry remains in a “soft market”, Mel Foster Insurance has established a dedicated transportation team that have the expertise to customize coverage’s for business clients. They also expanded the Employee Benefits team adding a registered representative in 401K and retirement planning. Mel Foster Insurance can handle all home, auto, and business insurance needs and look forward to initiating a new website this month.
