Dr. Uzansky achieved Meaningful Use by using the MediTouch Web-Based Integrated Solution. The MediTouch system facilitated management of all of Dr. Uzansky’s office requirements including the billing, scheduling, clearinghouse, and electronic health records (EHRs) with electronic prescribing. Meaningful Use EHR charting was performed predominantly via fingertip touch input on an Apple iPad. Using this technology to achieve meaningful use is a first in the industry.
Dr. Uzanskystated, “As an ENT specialist, my practice required an EHR that would allow for primary care charting as well as specialty charting. The MediTouch self-customization was easy to set up and being an Internet based system, my charts are secure, HIPAA compliant, and I can access my charts anywhere in the world,” said Dr. Uzansky.

“MediTouch’s cloud-based solution is able to track, real-time, the progress of our entire physician user base and adjust our program such that our eligible providers can collect incentive dollars free of stress and hassle. To assist those eligible providers in qualifying for stimulus funds, MediTouch translates provider data into an easy to understand Meaningful Use Report Card™, which enables those eligible providers and staff to understand their performance and meet the CMS reporting requirements,” said
“There is a real incentive for physicians and practices to act quickly in order to take advantage of the financial incentives in this program. By moving forward with implementation of an EHR now, physicians can still qualify for their first payment this year. We pride ourselves on building an EHR that understands a doctor’s workflow, time constraints, quality of care and one that can be used by offices of any size. MediTouch is designed for use on the Apple iPad but can be used on any personal computer with Internet access, and is easily implemented within a practice at very little cost. There’s no reason physicians shouldn’t immediately adopt this technology and take advantage of these available incentive payments,” said Dr. Flam.
