Mangos Honored with Two Gold Awards in Graphis Design Annual
MALVERN, Pa., June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Mangos, a full-service advertising agency, has been recognized with two Gold awards from Graphis, the premier publication for visual communications worldwide. The awards recognize Mangos' cover art illustrations for jazz musician Maxfield Gast's CD "Eat Your Beats," as well as an annual report created for Bermuda-based reinsurance company Harbor Point.

The cover art illustrations for Gast's CD were designed to capture the essence of the music, which is a result of the layering of multiple tracks and melodies. The movement of colors within the illustration underscores the simplicity, complexity and multiple textures that make up the compositions.
Bradley Gast, President of Mangos, says, "The illustrations capture the celebration of sound and rhythm graphically in a way that reflects the audio experience." He adds, "This was Mangos' first foray into the world of cover art, so it's especially rewarding for us to be recognized in this category."
The agency also received a gold award for Harbor Point's 2008 Annual Report, which also won a National Gold ADDY earlier this month.
