Lockton Names SVP to Casualty Insurance Practice [Health & Beauty Close – Up]

Lockton announced it has appointed Eric Silverstein to a new role as SVP for Lockton's national casualty insurance practice.
Silverstein will also lead the national accounts team for the Southeast U.S., based in Lockton's Atlanta, Ga. office. Lockton is a privately held insurance broker.
According to a release, Silverstein has experience in advising companies about managing complex risks and structuring casualty insurance programs. He will provide support and guidance to Lockton clients in the Southeast and nationally while strengthening relationships with leading insurers who underwrite the risks.
"We are excited to have Eric join us. Working with our teams, he will offer our clients innovative approaches for their casualty risks," said Tim DeSett, EVP and Risk Practice Leader at Lockton. "He has established a reputation for providing thoughtful advice, creative solutions, and effective negotiations."
Silverstein has more than 25 years experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. He started his career at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and Wausau Insurance. He has also worked with regional and global brokers, most recently for eight years as Casualty Practice Leader at Beecher Carlson in Atlanta.
