Lockton Insurance Brokers, LLC Announces New Senior Vice President, Chief Consultant for Its Employee Benefits Practice
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Southern California subsidiary of Lockton Companies announced today that Lissa Thomson has been promoted to senior vice president, chief consultant for Lockton Benefits Group's Southern California operations. In this newly created position, Thomson will serve a critical role in driving new business development and providing senior support to Lockton benefits consultants region wide. She will also continue in her present position as member to Lockton's national Strategic Initiative Group.

Thomson will collaborate with and serve as a resource to Lockton benefits consultants and accounting teams in analyzing complex benefits needs of clients, and formulating creative strategies to evolve their programs, explains Czesak.
Thomson is a recognized benefits expert with more than 27 years serving in executive positions at some of the nation's top consulting brokerage firms. Her experience in financial plan management and optimizing alternative benefit strategies including alternative delivery, consumerism, defined contribution, cafeteria models, etc., support Lockton clients who choose to be among the top performers in maximizing health care dollars.
She is frequently invited to speak at industry conferences and events including San Diego Compensation and Benefits Association and regional Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) meetings, University Conference Services' National Health and Welfare Plan Management Conference, and the First Health National Conference. In additional, Thomson teaches a course on benefits plan design, management, and finance at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
A resident of San Diego, she holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Boston University.
