Leading West Suburban OBGYN Practice, Premier Women’s Health, Joins Allegheny Health Network

PR Web</td>

Pittsburgh PA (PRWEB) July 29, 2014

Premier Women's Health, a six-physician practice based in the Sewickley and Moon Township areas, has affiliated with Allegheny Health Network's renowned Women's Health program.

Premier Women's Health will continue to deliver babies and perform surgical procedures at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Most patients in need of advanced care will be referred to Allegheny Health Network'sWest Penn Hospital.

"We are proud to be associated with West Penn Hospital and its highly regarded Women's Health program," said physician Bryan E. LaBuda, RPh, DO. "We are also happy to offer our patients the choices available in a large insurance network such as Highmark. We are impressed with Allegheny Health Network's commitment to keep patients in their home communities for infant deliveries and other women's health care needs."

Premier Women's Health will continue to accept all major health insurances offered in the Pittsburgh area.

"We are very happy to join a program that shares our philosophy of providing a caring, supportive and friendly environment for women throughout their life journeys," Dr. LaBuda added.

Premier Women's Health physicians offer a wide range of experience in meeting women's health care needs from puberty through menopause. In addition to Dr. LaBuda, other practitioners include Mark J. Fuoss, RPh, MD; Christina A. Cirucci, MD; Kristine R. Santerini, MD; Frank D. DiCenzo, DO, CCD, and Kerri L. McIntyre, DO. Laura J. Silverman, PA-C, is the physician assistant.

For obstetric patients, Premier Women's Health offers a team approach, with patients rotating appointments through all obstetrics providers. Premier Women's Health prides itself on excellent communication among team members and prompt responses to individual patient concerns.

Premier Women's Health emphasizes comprehensive, preventive health care, and encourages patients to stay closely involved with their care and to take charge of their own well-being.
Areas of special interest include preventive women's health care, menopause management, diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery (including in-office tubal sterilization), menstrual disorders and management of abnormal pap smears.

Premier Women's Health offers convenient access to digital mammography - which produces images with better visibility, shorter exams, and higher sensitivity to abnormalities – as well as DEXA scans and ultrasounds.
"We welcome Premier Women's Health to Allegheny Health Network, and look forward to a collaboration based on shared values of women's and infants care that is centered on caring, compassion and clinical excellence," said Allan Klapper, MD, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Allegheny Health Network.

Allegheny Health Network is a regional and national leader in advanced obstetric and gynecologic care. West Penn Hospital, Forbes Hospital in Monroeville and Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie provide inpatient obstetric care, as well as neonatal intensive care for premature infants. In addition, state-of-the-art gynecologic care is provided for women of all ages at numerous locations around the region.

In 2013, West Penn Hospital received U.S. News' highest honor for the quality of its Women's Health program, earning a top 50 national designation in gynecology. In addition, Becker's Hospital Review has named West Penn Hospital to its list of "100 Hospitals With Great Women's Health Programs," citing its outstanding services in obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive medicine and other women's health.
