LIBERTY Dental Plan Introduces New Jersey Dental Director

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- LIBERTY Dental Plan (LIBERTY) is proud to announce a new partnership with Dr. Peter Fuentes, who will be serving as Dental Director for its growing membership in New Jersey. A resident of Monmouth County, Dr. Fuentes will bring his far-reaching experience in dental health and local presence to support LIBERTY's goals to provide the highest quality of oral healthcare to communities in New Jersey.

In his new role, Dr. Fuentes will report to LIBERTY's National Dental Director Dr. Gary Dougan as he oversees clinical review activities for commercial, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid programs in the New Jersey area. He will also participate in LIBERTY's continually developing Quality Management program as a member of the Utilization Management Committee, National Peer Review Committee, and Quality Management & Improvement Committee, bringing a voice to specifically address New Jersey's requirements and local culture.

A graduate of the Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Fuentes has practiced clinical dentistry for the past 10 years in addition to owning and operating three multi-specialty dental offices in New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where he continues to serve his alma mater on their Board of Admissions. His many accomplishments have been recognized in as a top Dentist in 2012, by the Consumer Research Council of America as a top dentist, and in the Latino American Who's Who as an outstanding professional.
