Kount Receives Fourth Patent Allowance of 2011

Expanding its portfolio of solutions and intellectual property, Kount’s latest patent enables secure access to content on the Internet.

The patent paves the way for using characteristics of Domain Name Service (DNS) protocols to secure access to content on the Internet. Combining these techniques with Kount’s other patented technologies such as Multi-Layer Device Fingerprinting™ and Proxy Piercer® enable a more secure Internet experience for both merchants and users.

The patent application is number 13/096,673 and is entitled “Establishing Unique Sessions For DNS Subscribers.” Kount also has thirteen other pending patent applications related to cutting-edge fraud prevention and detection technologies including: system identification, data collection, credential verification, payment fraud control and risk analysis.
