KMC On Demand(SM) Releases Six New Property and Casualty Training Courses for Continuing Education
ATLANTA, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- KMC On Demand(SM) (www.kmcondemand.com), an online learning platform that marries cutting-edge knowledge management technology with customized insurance training courses, has just released six new advanced property and casualty training courses that can be used to satisfy continuing education requirements.
The new courses are Advanced General Casualty I, Advanced General Casualty II, Commercial Trucking, Insurance Ethics, Negotiations and Personal Liability. The courses have been approved for continuing education credits in the following states: Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.
"Content is king in e-learning services," said Colm Keenan, vice president of knowledge management at Crawford & Company, which offers KMC On Demand. "We have a top-notch knowledge management platform in KMC On Demand, but what really makes us unique is the content we provide with that platform. It isn't enough that it is well-designed with plenty of interactions; we also can deliver practical knowledge that can be used today by the claims representative."
A unique feature of the new courses is the Performance Support Reference, which provides the adjuster with 24/7 Web access to complimentary content long after the course itself has been completed. "The revolution in adult learning assumes that people learn best at the workplace, so providing performance support access when and where they need it will aid retention and performance," said Keenan. "We continually strive to improve our content and knowledge management applications, and these courses are a prime example of those efforts."
Thirty minutes of free access to course offerings is available to any interested party by simply visiting www.kmcondemand.com and signing up for access.
KMC On Demand serves employees, clients and the property and casualty industry on one platform that provides vetted and customized insurance courses, performance support information that adjusters can easily reference, and online forms and other tools for claims administration. It is part of Crawford Educational Services, a full-service provider of classroom, online and blended (classroom and online combined) educational opportunities for claims professionals. Crawford acquired online educational capabilities in mid-2007 and has steadily expanded its online offerings since that time.
