Tim Nowak, CPA, is in Johnson Lambert LLP’s Falls Church, Virginia office, serving the mid-Atlantic insurance and not-for-profit practices. Tim has significant experience with SEC reporting requirements and has participated in clients’ initial public offering (IPO) process and conducting integrated audits complying with SOX Section 404 under PCAOB Auditing Standards. Andrea Wright, CPA, MBA is in Johnson Lambert LLP’s Illinois office. Andrea provides audit and consulting services in the Not-for-Profit and Employee Benefit Plan practices. Andrea was a recent member of the AICPA Not-for-Profit Expert Panel and Audit Guide Task Force, she is an AICPA Leadership Academy Alumni (2010), and she serves as a AICPA technical trainer on non-profit and governmental accounting matters. Jean Adams, CFE, CPA, CISA, AES, MCM, is a principal in Johnson Lambert LLP’s newly established regulatory support practice. Jean is based in the firm’s Atlanta office where she is responsible for overseeing all regulatory support services provided. Jean has experience conducting examinations for a wide variety of insurance entities, including commercial P&C carriers, risk retention groups, special purpose financial captives, HMOs, and life and health companies. In addition, Jean serves on the Board of Governors for the Society of Financial Examiners (SOFE) and is a member of the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society (IRES). Regulatory Services - Johnson Lambert is pleased to announce the formation of a dedicated Regulatory Services practice on January 1, 2013. The Regulatory Services team is devoted exclusively to meeting the needs of state insurance regulators. The team will offer a full range of services including financial examinations, market conduct examinations, actuarial services, information technology reviews, investment analysis, receivership support, and special projects. Information Technology Assurance and Consulting - Johnson Lambert is pleased to announce the formation of a dedicated Information Technology Assurance and Consulting practice on January 1, 2013. This practice builds on Johnson Lambert's existing expertise and dedication to the insurance, employee benefit plan and non-profit industries and a strategic decision to bring expertise to the market with new service offerings. The practice will offer a wide range of services including Service Organization Control reporting (SOC), IT and Operational Risk Assessments, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit support, Gap Analysis and System Implementation Reviews.
