International Medical Group and AAA Assurance Corporation of Vietnam Sign Historic Agreement in Ho Chi Minh City
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- International Medical Group®, Inc. (IMG®), a worldwide leader in designing, distributing and administering global health care benefits, signed a historic agreement in Ho Chi Minh City with the joint stock company, AAA Assurance Corporation of Vietnam. At a formal ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel, AAA Assurance Corporation agreed it will distribute one of IMG’s comprehensive insurance products to Vietnamese citizens, businesses and foreign nationals living in Vietnam. The agreement, according to Mr. Vu Tan Thanh, Vice Director General of VCCI, Vietnam, is the first between a U.S. Managing General Underwriter and a Vietnamese insurance company since the U.S. and Vietnam signed a trade agreement in 2001, indicating a significant milestone in the U.S.-Vietnamese relations.
