Insurance Website Builder Now Includes Mobile Websites at No Additional Cost

Carrollton, TX (PRWEB) June 27, 2011

Insurance Technologies Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of mobile websites to Insurance Website Builder, the premier insurance agency website provider, which are available to all Insurance Website Builder customers at no additional cost. Automatically included in every package, all current accounts have already been upgraded with a mobile version, which includes features from the full websites.

“According to The Nielsen Company, almost a third of all mobile users in the United States own smartphones, a number predicted to rise above 50% by year-end,” said Laird Rixford, vice president of product development. “We’re excited to provide mobile websites as part of the Insurance Website Builder package because we believe that there is an increasingly critical need for insurance agents to have a mobile online presence for their on-the-go customers.”

The mobile sites include the same features found on an agency’s main website, just in a more mobile and finger-friendly format. These features include quotes, customer service, secure payments, blogs and frequently asked questions. When using these mobile versions of an agency’s website, visitors have been shown to view more pages and stay longer while browsing on a mobile device.

“Insurable events rarely happen near a computer, sometimes they even destroy the computer, so it’s important for insurance agents to have websites that are easily viewable on their customers’ mobile devices as it could be the only way for them to find the information they need to begin the claim process,” said Rixford. “Because we believe so strongly that an insurance agency must have a mobile presence, every Insurance Website Builder customer – both current and new – receives the mobile version as part of the website package at no additional cost.”

In addition to these mobile sites, Insurance Technologies Corporation offers customized agency applications that link the user directly to the agency’s mobile presence. Mobile applications are available for Apple’s iPhone, Google’s Android, and Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating systems. When combined with the mobile websites from Insurance Website Builder, this solution allows insurance agencies to stay current with technology trends by making their information and forms easily accessible on smartphones.
