InPro Insurance Group Purchases Industrial Insurance Services [Professional Services Close – Up]

To further its targeted growth in the metro-Detroit area, InPro Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency, has announced the acquisition of Industrial Insurance Services, Inc. of Troy.

Through the agreement, the Company said that the Industrial Insurance Services team and book of health insurance business will be integrated into InPro's existing personal, commercial, and life and health business. The terms of the agreement, which became effective July 1, were not disclosed.

"As a family-owned company with an established local history, the Industrial Insurance Services acquisition is a good opportunity to further expand InPro's local reach and capabilities," said Dave Goodman, president, InPro Insurance Group. "Its established healthcare insurance business will strengthen our existing book of business and be a key driver of InPro's strategic growth in the metro-Detroit area."

InPro noted that the Industrial Insurance Services team -- including Paul Pomerleau, Chuck Pomerleau, Kristin Hendren and Kate DiAntonio -- will join InPro's Troy office, gaining access to the company's portfolio of commercial and personal insurance products and resources. As an independent agency, InPro represents many property and casualty insurance companies, including Travelers, Hartford, Hanover, Accident Fund, Philadelphia and Auto Owners, in addition to all healthcare insurers.
