IAN BEATON JOINS XCHANGING CLAIMS SERVICES AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR To represent the Lloyd's Market Association on the Board of Xchanging Claims Services

LONDON, 28 April 2010 - The Board of Xchanging Claims Services (XCS) is pleased to announce that Ian Beaton has been appointed as the Lloyd's Market Association's (LMA) representative to be a Non-Executive Director of XCS.

Xchanging's Insurance business is an established provider of business processing, products, services and software in the international commercial insurance markets. With over 300 employees, XCS has one of the largest concentrations of commercial claims management expertise in the London Insurance Market. It is one of the largest claims service providers in the world.

Ian's appointment commences with the XCS board meeting in June 2010. Ian is the CEO of Ark Syndicate Management Ltd. Ark Syndicate manages Syndicate 4020 at Lloyd's, underwriting a diversified and balanced portfolio of reinsurance and insurance business.

Speaking on Ian's appointment, Paul Swain, Non-Executive Chairman of XCS said, "I am delighted to welcome Ian to the board of XCS.
