IAG selects Guidewire ClaimCenter for claims management
Aug 19, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Guidewire Software has announced that Insurance Australia Group, or IAG, has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter as its technology platform for claims management.
The ClaimCenter deployment will commence with IAG's intermediated insurance business CGU. ClaimCenter will allow CGU to implement improved claims handling practices, resulting in enhanced customer service for its policyholders and agents, the company said.
With ClaimCenter, IAG will gain a platform to consolidate and standardize claims handling systems and processes; eliminating manual processes, the company added.
Neil Whiteing, group chief information officer of IAG, said: "We are very pleased to be working with a partner like Guidewire Software, as we focus on our strategic objective of driving operational efficiencies and improved customer service across our business. We are looking forward to a positive and productive relationship."
