Holiday show calendar [Daily Record, The (Wooster, OH)]

Groups wishing to have a fundraising event listed in the Holiday Show Calendar are asked to submit information to Lydia Gehring, living/arts editor at The Daily Record. Items can either be mailed to P.O. Box 918, Wooster 44691, or e-mail living@the-daily- record.com.

WOOSTER -- Season's Splendor Arts & Craft Show will be held Friday, 5-9 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; at Greenbriar Conference & Party Centre, 50 Riffel Road.

Admission is free and lunch will be available. There will be 125 booths available. The event is sponsored by the Wayne County Arts & Crafts Guild.

WOOSTER --The third annual Every Woman's House Gift Market 2011 will be held at Edgewood Middle School on Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The event will feature local artisans and vendors with a wide variety of unique gifts, food items and jewelry. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to help support Every Woman's House.

CLARK -- Clark Community Presbyterian Church will present its 30th annual bazaar on Saturday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the church located on state Route 83, south of Millersburg.

There will be crafts and gift items, as well as a Country Store that will include jellies, jams, salsa, relishes and candy.

The menu for lunch will include vegetable soup, sandwiches, noodles, potato salad and pie.

ASHLAND -- Ashland Symphony Women's League will offer "DAZZLE: A Unique Holiday Shopping Experience," Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., at Ashland University'sJohn C. Myer'sConvocation Center.

The seventh annual event will feature more than 70 artisans and vendors. The Symphony Women's League will offer "Treasure's from the Attic," a resale shop with selected high-quality items.

A cafe will be open throughout the day, featuring gourmet salads, sandwiches, pastries, snacks and beverages.

Admission is $3; children and students are free. Valet parking is available.

WESTFIELD CENTER -- The third annual Westfield Insurance Employee Craft Show on Nov. 10, 3:30-6 p.m., at One Park Circle. Thirty-five booths featuring handmade, one-of-a-kind items will be available. Free admission; door prizes will be given away. Craft participation is limited to Westfield employees and retirees.

CANTON -- Christkindl Markt will celebrate its 40th year Nov. 11- 13 at the Canton Cultural Center for the Arts. More than 100 exhibitors will headline the juried fine arts and crafts show.

Hours are: 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Nov. 11; 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Nov. 12; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Nov. 13. Tickets are $6 in advance; $7 at the door; and free for children 12 and under.

The event is sponsored by Canton Fine Arts, with all proceeds benefiting the Canton Museum of Art for exhibits, scholarships, outreach programs, hands-on experiences and more.

WOOSTER -- A Holiday Craft Bazaar will be held Nov. 12, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Church of the Cross United Methodist, 5100 Cleveland Road. The event will include a cookie walk, homemade candy, baked goods, toys, ornaments, Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, quilted items and many other fine hand-crafted specialties. Tickets will be sold for a snowman quilt.

The church is handicapped accessible; a continental breakfast and full lunch will be available.
