Heateflex specially designed a Solar Cell Texturing Tank for cell development. This innovative product creates a more uniform flow across the surface area of the solar cell substrates, allowing for greater production in a shorter amount of time and with more consistent results. The patent pending Controlled Flow, Texturing Tank removes more bubbles from the surface. The controlled flow is combined with an integrated degassing chamber which removes bubbles from the fluid before the fluid enters the process area of the tank. Process baths which utilize the direct application of heat should only use an immersion heater which has been designed specifically for solar cell applications. Heateflex^® Immersion Heaters feature PFA and PTFE wetted surfaces for ultra purity, and can be controlled by microprocessor-based temperature controls for precise temperatures and safe operation. The Heateflex^® Immersion Heaters will reduce rinse times and improve the removal of surcease contaminates by using hot DI water in the process.
