Healthcare Executive Samantha Platzke Joins Care Logistics as CFO

Care Logistics announced the addition of healthcare executive Samantha Platzke to the Care Logistics team as chief financial officer and SVP, system performance. Platzke has previously held senior financial and operational executive positions with several hospital systems.

Platzke will lead the Care Logistics finance department and work closely with the transformation and solution delivery teams to help partner hospitals to continue achieving dramatic quality, throughput and financial results through logistics-based care delivery.

She most recently served as president of hospital consulting firm Remarkable Results, providing hands-on executive operational coaching and leadership for hospital transformation initiatives.

Straub also noted that Platzke adds to a growing lineup of hospital executive leaders who have joined Care Logistics to further their missions of improving patient care quality and hospital performance:

   •  Ed Bonn, former CEO of Southern Regional Health System and executive leader at several other hospitals in Georgia
   •  Tom Brunelle, former CEO of two Bon Secours Charity Health System hospitals and EVP and COO of the Samaritan Health System in New York
