Harleysville Insurance’s Technology Achievements Recognized by CIO magazine and ACORD
Harleysville Insurance has been recognized by CIO magazine and ACORD (Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development) for its accomplishments in information technology (IT). CIO magazine-one of the technology industry's leading trade publications-has named Harleysville to its "CIO 100," which honors 100 organizations every year that have distinguished themselves by creating the greatest business value through the effective and innovative use of IT. The "CIO 100" represents those entities globally that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in IT. ACORD-a global standards development organization serving the insurance industry and related financial services industries-has selected Harleysville as one of seven insurance companies to receive its "Property Casualty Round Trip of Data Award." That includes encouraging its agents to use current ACORD forms, real time rating/submission, policy download and endorsement processing.
