GEICO Asks: ‘Who’s the Funniest Fed?’ in D.C. Standup Comedy Competition

Auditions for the competition will take place

Funniest Fed®, which debuted in 2007, is the brainchild of
“I got the idea after I kept running into federal employees who either had experience doing standup or had always wanted to do it,” Johnson said. “There are some really funny feds out there, and this competition is their chance to get in front of a crowd and show that they can freeze our pay, but they can’t freeze our sense of humor.”
All federal employees and active or retired military personnel are eligible to compete. Prior experience in standup is not necessary, as participants will be able to compete either as “experienced” or “novice” entrants, depending on whether they have more or less than three years of standup experience.
