LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Fortis (be:000380118) has sold its entire 4.1 million share stake in Assurant (aiz) , a spokeswoman said. Fortis sold the remaining shares to institutional investors, and it received $58.90 per share for the stock being sold, the spokeswoman said. Assurant, a provider of insurance services, said late Thursday that it had bought 1 million of its shares back from Fortis for $59 each.
