Former IBM Executive Ron Ercanbrack Joins enChoice as Chairman of the Board

enChoice®, Inc., the enterprise content management (ECM) solutions and services specialists, today announced that Ron Ercanbrack, former vice president of IBM’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) division, is joining enChoice as chairman of the board. Tony White, current chairman and CEO, is relinquishing his chairman role, but will retain his CEO position and run day-to-day operations.

As chairman, Ercanbrack will help further enChoice’s mission to provide the most comprehensive range of ECM solutions and services available. He will help refine enChoice’s strategic direction, expand its presence worldwide, and establish strategic partnerships for distribution, investment and acquisitions. In addition, he will work closely with the entire enChoice team and enChoice’s customers to maintain the company’s position as a leader in the ECM industry.

Ercanbrack’s career with IBM spans 23 years. He held a variety of positions at IBM in planning, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, sales, marketing, and professional services before leaving to work for FileNet Corporation, where he rose to the position of president. Ercanbrack was instrumental in growing FileNet to the largest ECM player worldwide, and expanded the company’s customer base to more than 4,300 global organizations. FileNet was subsequently acquired by IBM, where Ercanbrack took on the role of vice president of IBM’s ECM division. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
